A Minute for Peace: a meditation asking Spirit for their help to influence world leaders in an attempt to facilitate peace
Afterlife: commonly thought to be what follows earthly life (see A Life Well Lived - Personal Responsibility)
Aura: the energy field surrounding a person, animal or thing.
Code of Conduct: the rules of the organisation to which a Healer belongs which set the professional standards to which they are expected to adhere.
Distant Healing: Healing that a Healer requests for a patient they are not in the physical presence of.
Ego: Feelings of self importance or self satisfaction.
Earthbound Spirits: Spirits that have remained in the void between the earth plane and the Spirit World See Protection for a full explanation.
Embryo/embryonic: The first stages of pregnancy after the fertilization of the egg
Energy Healing: a term used to describe the passing on of spiritual energy by hands on or distant healing.
Foetus/foetal: An unborn child
Frequency: how often Simple Relaxation should be practiced.
Guided Meditation: When a person is talked into a state of relaxation or lightly altered state of consciousness by another - either in person or by the use of a recording.
Inner being: the Spirit implanted into a foetus at 12 weeks into the pregnancy
Karma: used to describe the accumulation of matters to be dealt with that are a result of one's actions, good and bad. See A Life Well Lived - Personal Responsibility
Hands on Healing: When a Healer lays their hands on another person and allows their own body to be a channel for Healing Energy.
Healer: A person who has trained with both Spirit and a Healing Organisation to become a channel for Healing Energy.
Healing Minute: Many Healers sit for one minute at 10pm each evening to request Distant Healing for anyone who is in need of it.
Healing Organisation: An organisation which has been set up to train new Healers and to provide ongoing support and advice to Registered Healers
Healing touch: a popular term for someone who appears to have healing abilities that it is thought others do not have.
Higher Spiritual Council: the senior group of Souls in the Spirit World who make the important decisions
Inner eye: see Third eye
Meditation: a state of total relaxation which takes mind and body away from earthly worries and problems for a period of time.
Medium: a person who acts as a link between the Spirit World and those still on the earth plane.
Miscarriage: a term used to mean the termination of a pregnancy without intervention
Past Lives: Earthly life times previously lived by a Spirit
Past life Regression Therapy: offered as a means of finding out what past lives your inner being has lived. Please read Past Lives
Relaxation Music: music to aid the Simple Relaxation and Meditation process. It should be soothing and without words.
Reading: when a Medium gives messages to a person living on the earth plane from someone in Spirit
Spirit Guides: people who have passed to spirit and who have trained to work with people on the earth plane
Spiritual Healing: the Healing Energy
Third eye: a point behind the brow where Mediums frequently focus to receive an image from Spirit.
Universal Energy: another way of referring to Spiritual Energy
Uterus: The area of the female internal anatomy that is home to the growing foetus during pregnancy
